PRE-MIXED SELF-LEVELING FINISHING COAT FOR LOW-PROFILE APPLICATIONS. 1-10 MM

KRONOS AUTOLIV is the pre-mixed self-leveling smoothing mortar that creates, in just a few millimeters, a perfectly flat and strong surface before the floor covering goes down. It corrects and finishes cement screeds and POLITERM® BLU and ISOLCAP lightweight subfloors, making them ready for ceramic, stoneware, natural stone, parquet, PVC, carpet and resins.

A mineral mortar based on Portland cement and selected quartz, it is applied by hand or by machine from 0.039 to 0.394 in (1 to 10 mm) (optimum 0.197 in (5 mm)) and levels itself with a smoothing trowel and spiked roller. It reaches high strength (C30-F6, wear resistance A4).

It is walkable after about 24 hours; ceramic and terracotta can be laid after about 24 hours, parquet, resilient floors and natural stone after about 7 days. For thicknesses above 13/32 in (10 mm) use KRONOS AUTOLIV 5-30.

NOTE

Thickness 0.039 to 0.394 in (1-10 mm) (optimum 0.197 in (5 mm)); consumption 8.3 lb/ft² per inch of thickness (1.6 kg/m² per mm).
Mixing water 1.4-1.5 gal (5.25-5.75 L) per 55 lb (25 kg) bag; pot life ≥ 30 minutes.
Application temperature 41 to 95 °F (+5 to +35 °C).
Walkable after about 24 h; ceramic/terracotta after about 24 h; parquet, resilient and natural stone after about 7 days.
Compressive strength C30; flexural strength F6; Böhme wear A4.
Adhesion to concrete ≥ 73 psi (≥ 0.5 N/mm²) (28 days), also after freeze/thaw cycles.
Reaction to fire A1; thermal conductivity 6.24-6.93 BTU·in/(h·ft²·°F) (0.9-1.0 W/(m·K)).
55 lb (25 kg) bag; pallet of 48 bags (2,646 lb (1,200 kg)).

Not to be used as a finishing layer outdoors or for heavy traffic.
