ISOLCAP MAX 800

PRE-MIXED, CE-MARKED, LIGHTWEIGHT, THERMALLY INSULATING SCREED. 49.9 lb/ft³ (800 kg/m3)

ISOLCAP MAX 800 is the CE-marked lightweight insulating screed of the ISOLCAP range: at 49.9 lb/ft³ (800 kg/m³) it guarantees a compressive strength of at least 725 psi (5 N/mm²) (class C5-F1 to UNI EN 13813) and replaces a traditional screed with a lighter and more insulating product. It is ideal as a single-layer screed under glued floors and wherever certified mechanical performance is required.

Made with EPS beads coated with E.I.A. additive and selected aggregates, it keeps a thermal conductivity of λD 1.22 BTU·in/(h·ft²·°F) (0.176 W/(m·K)). It does not settle, does not shrink and does not crack.

At 2 in (5 cm) thickness ceramic tiles can be laid after about 6 days and floating parquet after about 12 days. It can also be used as a 1.18 in (3 cm) fill layer under KRONOS or self-leveling screeds.

It is mixed with a drill and whisk, a cement mixer or a mixer, and pumped to the floor with POLITERM® MACHINE, ISOLCAP MACHINE, a properly fitted plastering machine or a truck mixer and concrete pump. With DBRED FONOTECH 5: ΔLw 19 dB. Reaction to fire A2-s1,d0.

Single-layer lightweight screeds for floor coverings laid with adhesive (for glued parquet, a KRONOS AUTOLIV skim coat is mandatory).
