The Ariete 250 F® subfloor is pre-dosed with 15.6 lb/ft³ (250 kg/m³) of cement, while the screed is pre-dosed with 51.5 lb/ft³ (825 kg/m³). Given that a “typical” subfloor made with cellular concrete does not fall below 400 kg/m³, it is easy to see how much weight is saved with this system. Additionally, the Ariete screed and subfloor require very little water for mixing, thus protecting your flooring finish from potential cracks or breaks.
