ECAP® GTL

PREFINISHED EPS PANEL, GRAPHITE-ENHANCED, FOR THERMAL INSULATION SYSTEMS

ECAP® GTL is the prefinished graphite EPS board for external thermal insulation systems. The graphite lowers the thermal conductivity to λD 0.21 BTU·in/(h·ft²·°F) (0.031 W/(m·K)): more insulation for the same thickness, or the same performance with a thinner wall build-up.

It arrives on site with the fiberglass mesh and the first coat of smoothing mortar already applied in the factory, plus punched holes for the anchors: fewer operations, shorter times and consistent quality. The system is completed with ECAP® ADP and the ECAP® finishes.

Thicknesses from 1.18 to 7.87 in (30 to 200 mm), with thermal resistance from 5.7 to 37.8 h·ft²·°F/BTU (1.00 to 6.65 m²K/W).

NOTE

Board 23 5/8 × 47 1/4 in (600 × 1200 mm) (7.8 ft² (0.72 m²)) with straight edges; prefinished with about 0.118 in (3 mm) of cement smoothing mortar and alkali-resistant fiberglass mesh 4.7 oz/yd² (160 g/m²) with overlaps; punched holes for anchors.
Graphite EPS class 100: λD 0.21 BTU·in/(h·ft²·°F) (0.031 W/(m·K)) (EN 12667); CS(10) ≥ 15 psi (≥ 100 kPa); BS ≥ 29 psi (≥ 200 kPa).
Reaction to fire class E; μ 30-70; specific heat 1450 J/kgK; service temperature limit 176 °F (80 °C).
