ECAP® ADP

PRE-MIXED FIBER-REINFORCED ADHESIVE AND SKIM COAT, IN POWDER FORM

ECAP® ADP is the fiber-reinforced mineral adhesive and skim coat of the ECAP® system: one product to bond insulation boards to the wall and to skim them with the embedded fiberglass mesh. It is certified to ETAG 004 / ETA within the EDIL-THERM® systems.

It has high adhesion to EPS and is vapor-permeable; water absorption is class W0 and reaction to fire class A1. It is applied from 0.039 to 0.394 in (1 to 10 mm) per coat and is available in gray or white.

NOTE

Compressive strength class CS III; adhesion to EPS > 23 psi (> 0.16 N/mm²) (failure in the board).
Water absorption W0; μ ≤ 8; λ < 2.98 BTU·in/(h·ft²·°F) (< 0.43 W/(m·K)); reaction to fire A1.
Mixing water 1.4-1.5 gal (5.25-5.75 L) per 55 lb (25 kg) bag; workability > 30 minutes.
Consumption: bonding 0.82-1.2 lb/ft² (4-6 kg/m²) (full bed) or 0.61-1 lb/ft² (3-5 kg/m²) (dot and perimeter); skimming about 5.7 lb/ft² per inch of thickness (1.1 kg/m² per mm).
Gray or white; 55 lb (25 kg) bag.
