POLITERM® BLU READY MIX

ULTRA-LIGHTWEIGHT THERMALLY INSULATING AGGREGATE, PRE-COATED WITH E.I.A. ADDITIVE. BEAD Ø 3-6 MM

POLITERM® BLU READY MIX is the version of POLITERM® BLU designed for concrete batching plants: the lightweight concrete is prepared in a truck mixer and pumped to the floor with a concrete pump, for large sites and large surfaces.

It is made of EPS beads coated with E.I.A. additive: the additive makes the beads mix perfectly with cement, stops them floating and spreads them evenly through the mix, at low and high densities alike. The result is a lightweight concrete that does not settle, does not shrink and does not crack. It is the only RAL-certified aggregate. The beads carry a higher dosage of E.I.A. additive for mixing in the truck mixer.

35 ft³ (1 m³) of mortar up to 21.8 lb/ft³ (350 kg/m³) needs 31.1 ft³ (880 L) of aggregate (2 bags of 15.5 ft³ (440 L)). Order of loading: water, aggregate, mix 10 minutes, cement, mix 10 minutes. Minimum pumping density 15.6 lb/ft³ (250 kg/m³). Densities from 9.4 to 112 lb/ft³ (150 to 1800 kg/m³).
