RESILIENT IMPACT SOUND INSULATION LAYER WITH PREMIXED RUBBER GRANULES

GUM GUM SPRAY is a resilient impact sound layer made directly on site from pre-mixed SBR rubber granules and selected binders (Part A, 53 lb (24 kg) bags), mixed with a liquid additive (Part B, 1.1 gal (4 L) packs) and water.

Sprayed with the GUM GUM MACHINE (or spread by hand), it follows every shape and covers pipes and services without a leveling layer: ideal for low-thickness floating screeds in renovations, and for stairs, wall cavities and acoustic bridges that a roll cannot reach. 89% recycled material.

NOTE
  • Made on site, seamless
  • Also directly over services
  • 89% recycled rubber

  • Part A: 53 lb (24 kg) bags of pre-mixed SBR rubber granules; Part B: 1.1 gal (4 L) packs of liquid additive; store dry, away from frost, use within 6 months.
  • Mix: 1 bag + 0.53 gal (2 L) Part B + approx. 3.2 gal (12 L) water; mixed product usable up to 60 min (68 °F (+20 °C), 70% RH).
  • Machine application: GUM GUM MACHINE, material hose up to 66 ft (20 m), 9/16 in (14 mm) nozzle; manual: cement mixer, horizontal mixer or drill, trowel (approx. 30 min working time).
  • Light foot traffic: approx. 24-36 h at 0.236 in (6 mm) (depending on climate and substrate).
  • Recycled content 89%; color black; thickness 0.236 to 0.394 in (6-10 mm).
  • Thermal conductivity λD 0.44 BTU·in/(h·ft²·°F) (0.063 W/(m·K)); dynamic stiffness s't 74 lbf/in³ (20 MN/m³) (average, 0.236 in (6 mm)).
  • Impact sound: ΔLw 18 dB (UNI EN ISO 10140-3); on site ΔL'n 25 dB (UNI EN ISO 16283-2); compressibility 0.024 in (0.6 mm) (0.236 in (6 mm)).
  • Consumption 0.61 lb/ft² (3 kg/m²) at 0.236 in (6 mm), 1 lb/ft² (5 kg/m²) at 13/32 in (10 mm).
  • Application 41 / 86 °F (+5 / +30 °C), relative humidity 45-80%.
