BUILDING REFURBISHMENT
6.9 lb/ft³ (110 kg/m³) lightweight subfloor with POLITERM® BLU FEIN in a renovation in Rome.
POLITERM® BLU FEIN, 0.079 in (2 mm) EPS beads coated with E.I.A. additive, was used to make a lightweight subfloor with a density of about 6.9 lb/ft³ (110 kg/m³). Mixed on site with a mobile plant and pumped to the floor, it covered the services and leveled the existing floors with minimal loads, while providing effective thermal insulation.
